Info & Directions - Wissahickon Trail Classic

Location: Forbidden Drive and Northwestern Ave. in the Wissahickon Valley section of Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Download detailed directions here.

Fees: Received by May 25st - $22 race and $10 walk

Received between May 26st - June 5th - $25 race and $15 walk. T-shirts will only be available while supplies last.

The race will begin at the northern end of Forbidden Drive where it intersects Northwestern Avenue. From here the course will meander through 10 km of meadows and forests along moderately rugged and hilly trails ending up back at the same location for the awards ceremony and post-race festivities. Race awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers as well as the top three males and females in each age division (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over). All participants will be eligible to win prizes in the post-race raffle. All race participants under the age of 18 must have their registration formed signed by a parent or guardian. All dogs must be on leash and will only be allowed as part of the walk. Race timing provided by Ron Horn of Pretzel City Sports. Complete race results will be posted onsite immediately following the race and will be available on www.pretzelcitysports.com for at least two weeks following the race. Volunteer marshals and EMT personnel will be present to ensure participant safety. Two water stations will be provided along the course with more refreshments at the finish line. Restrooms and parking will be readily available near the start/finish line.
